Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) Process Pumps 80-100%
What You Will Do
- Gesamtverantwortung für Auftragseingang, Marge sowie qualitative Zielsetzungen in den Regionen Mittlerer Osten & Türkei; Österreich & Osteuropa sowie Romandie (endgültige regionale Zuordnung erfolgt abhängig von Sprachkompetenzen, Interesse und Erfahrung)
- Selbständige Marktbearbeitung inkl. Angebotserstellung, Verhandlungsführung und Abschluss von Projekten
- Aktive Neukundenakquisition sowie strategische Betreuung und Ausbau bestehender Key Accounts
- Führung, Motivation und Schulung der regionalen Vertretungen sowie enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Verkaufsinnendienst
- Unterstützung der Vertriebspartner bei Angebots- und Auftragsabwicklung sowie bei Garantie- und Kulanzfällen
- Umsetzung der regionalen Verkaufs- und Marktstrategie
- Regelmässige Kunden- und Partnerbesuche (bis zu 50 % Reisetätigkeit)
- Kontinuierliche Markt- und Wettbewerbsbeobachtung sowie Pflege und Ausbau des Branchennetzwerks
- Erstellung des jährlichen Verkaufsbudgets und Mitwirkung bei strategischen Projekten
What Sets You Apart for This Role
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemistry, or a related field
- Several years of sales experience (approx. 3–5+ years) in a B2B environment
- Experience selling capital goods or high-tech products that require detailed explanation
- Solid technical understanding of pumps, turbo machinery, or comparable rotating machinery
- Experience in key account management
- Experience in the chemical industry or in plant or component manufacturing
- Experience in managing complex projects (EPC projects), including contract management and negotiation
- Confidence in negotiating at the decision-maker level
- Entrepreneurial, results-oriented sales professional with strong communication and negotiation skills
- German: C1 – Expert-level proficiency
- English: C1 – Expert-level proficiency
Nice to Have
- Additional training in sales or project management
- Existing network in the chemical or process industry
- Knowledge of Eastern European languages
- French: B2 – Proficient in independent use
- Arabic: B2 – Proficient in independent use
