Centrifugal pumps that heat up for your media
Many liquids need a certain amount of heat to remain capable of being pumped. This also includes sulphur; BUT it must not get too hot or too cold. Optimal heat distribution is therefore required for such applications.
The magnetic drive centrifugal pumps by CP Pumpen are ideally suited for challenges like pumping liquid sulphur as a molten mass. If sulphur gets too cold, it hardens and can no longer be turned into liquid. If it gets too hot, the same thing happens. This can have devastating consequences for an operating installation.
With conventional centrifugal pumps, only parts of the chamber are heated. It is different with CP pumps: our magnetic drive centrifugal pumps heat the whole chamber. How do we ensure the heating process? By covering the whole pump with a heating jacket. In this way, optimal heat distribution can be achieved even in areas with difficult access at the back, where the impeller or the rotor are located.
