Successful cooperation between CP Pumpen AG and e-Con Solutions
On 31.03.2020 CP Pumpen AG successfully went live with its new pump configurator. Over the past few months, a team of CP Pumpen developers, supported by the Dutch configurator specialist from e-Con Solutions, has been programming this new tool.
"With this new configurator, we are able to configure pump designs internally more quickly and flexibly and to pass them on to our customers", emphasises Jörg Ihrig, Project Manager Sales. Updates and changes can be edited with just a few clicks. René Voney, Project Manager Technology, sees the feasibility and the possibility to implement changes quickly as a great advantage. Furthermore, the inputs are checked and the configuration is validated. If there is a problem, the operator is instructed by prompts and warnings to enter the correct information. With the configuration, parts lists and the pump data sheet are automatically generated in parallel. The connection to the existing ERP system AX was also a key element in the selection of e-Con CPQ.
