CP Pumpen AG is an internationally active company with a production site in Switzerland, as well as subsidiaries and sites in Germany, France, Thailand, South Korea and the USA. To enable it to serve its customers quickly and efficiently on the ground, CP also has a liaison office in each of Singapore, Spain, China and India, and is represented by partners in over 70 countries. CP’s highly reliable and efficient centrifugal pumps are used worldwide in the following industries: chemicals, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, biotechnology, food and beverages.
As part of a succession plan, we are looking for a:n to join us at our main site in Zofingen, either with immediate effect or by agreement:
Freight Forwarding and Logistics Assistant (80–100%)
These are some of the tasks you can expect to carry out
- Freight forwarding (unloading, loading, packing)
- Outgoing and incoming goods at the freight forwarding office
- Recording incoming goods using a computer and hand-held scanner
- Stock movements in and out of the warehouse from incoming goods and from our own production
- Carrying out transport journeys using the company van
- Correct operation of forklift trucks and pedestrian-operated stackers
What you bring to the role
- A completed apprenticeship as a logistics specialist (EFZ or EBA) and several years’ professional experience as a freight forwarding clerk or logistics specialist in a manufacturing company
- Experience using ERP (Dynamics 365) and MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Forklift licence and Category B driving licence
- Physical stamina
- Good manners and a willingness to work hard
- Good written and spoken German; English would be an advantage
Given the age profile of our team, we are looking for someone aged between approximately 30 and 45.
