CP Pumpen supports the training of chemical and pharmaceutical technologists

CP Pumpen AG supports the training of junior staff. Hence, CP enabled chemical and pharmaceutical technologists to enlarge their knowledge about pumps within a workshop-based course.

Zofingen, August 30, 2017 – For many years, CP Pumpen AG has been wholeheartedly committed to training young people. At CP, there is the notion that early sensitising for sustainable thinking and acting is not only very beneficial to the company, but also to the community at large.

For this purpose, CP provided different pump models for a workshop-based course organised by the companies Siegfried AG and Dottikon Exclusive Synthesis AG so trainees of different firms could examine the pumps. The learners came all together on the areal of Siegfried AG to work under the supervision of experienced training managers with different measuring instruments, valves, pumps and further working equipment. Thus, they could familiarise themselves with the various characteristics and functions, get a multifaceted impression of practical applications and learn from the experts of each company.

Furthermore, CP Pumpen AG invited the apprentices and training managers to the company's nearby production facility at its headquarters in Zofingen. While they had been enjoying a guided tour at CP, the group got the opportunity to examine a magnetic drive chemical process pump at CP's test fence as well as the chance to find out more about their personal technical skills. The test fence, the assembling stand and CP's extensive storage, with which the pump manufacturer can ensure its short delivery times, were the highlights at this visit.

"The workshop-based course is a great opportunity to impart valuable know-how to the junior staff and to sharpen their senses for the practical application. Also with the visit at our partner, CP Pumpen AG, we could show the apprentices a further interesting working environment and with the help of the pump testing the functionality of a magnetic drive pump.", commented Hans-Jörg Schmid, adult educator at Siegfried AG, the review of the successful workshop-based course.
