Future chemical and pharmaceutical technologists visited CP Pumpen AG in Zofingen
“The pump is one of the most important production equipment!”
Zofingen, 07.03.2025
Last Friday, CP Pumpen AG welcomed 15 apprentices in connection with an inter-company project. The students are currently in their second year of training as chemical and pharmaceutical technologists. All of them are completing the theoretical part of their three-year apprenticeship at the professional school in Aarau.
During a 6-day external course on pumps, valves, measurement and control technology, they were introduced to the practice of various companies in the engineering industry. This course was organized by Friderich (chemical, fire and safety training) together with the Commission for Inter-company Courses for Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technologists in Aargau.
For CP Pumpen AG, sustainability and thus supporting young people on their journey through life is part of the company's philosophy. We were pleased to be able to help shape the successful completion of the external course for the future chemical and pharmaceutical technologists.
During the tour of the showroom, the group gained an overview of CP's pump portfolio. At the next stop, in the production plant, the apprentices were shown practical examples of how the individual pump components are assembled and also explained the factors that are important during the test run on the pump test stand. The apprentices in each group were given the opportunity to ask questions or share experiences.
“The pump is one of the most important production resources!” This core message was clear to all participants after the tour.
