Especially in the areas of product development, where new products are designed and developed every day - like at the headquarters and production site of CP Pumpen AG - supporting software is essential.

In addition to the internal benefits, such as shortening work processes and more efficient production sequences, the use of CAM software also leads to enormous customer benefits. All production parts are designed and 3D modeled by engineers using the CAD (Computer Aided Design) software "Siemens NX". With the GO2cam extension, this 3D model can be imported directly into the CAM software to immediately program the CNC machine. Through this practical simulation, all collisions and errors are accurately displayed and analyzed in order to avoid them during the actual production. This results in a high level of manufacturing reliability.

Time is money! In production, this process saves time in set-up and run-in times. In addition, a list of the required tools can be created in advance so that they are already available at the CNC machine at the time of production. The aim is always to reduce setup and run-in times, to cut delivery times and to be able to supply the customer as quickly as possible.

As a result of the fact that a unified software interface is used for the entire machine park, the user interface looks always the same for all users. The operation through a variety of different systems and masks is history. The GO2cam ensures better reproducibility and standardization of the machining processes. Proven techniques (tools, cutting and experience values) can be stored in the system so that they are available to all users.
