Titanium Alloys
3.7034 (Grade 1-4); 3.7164 (Grade 5); … :Various GradesTitanium alloys are metallic materials which contain a mixture of titanium and other chemical elements. Such alloys have very high tensile strength and toughness (even at extreme temperatures), light weight, extraordinary corrosion resistance, and ability to withstand extreme temperatures. However, the high cost of both raw materials and processing limit their use in industrial applications. The ASTM defines a number of alloy standards with a grade numbering scheme for easy reference, starting from “Grade 1” up to “Grade 38”. CP uses various titanium grades for its pump casings – each one optimized for our clients’ needs. Contact us to learn more about our titanium pump references.
